Blocking WiFi networks

Today most netbooks and laptops have bluetooth and WiFi enabled as a default setting and this can create problems for the user. If a hacker uses a cable, DSL or dialup connection to access your computer, you can simply disconnect the cable and use your laptop or desktop without any interference.

However, securing your computer against a WiFi network accessing your computer, without your permission is far more difficult. Even if you disable the bluetooth and WiFi connection through the control panel, some hackers seem to be able to enable these wireless connections remotely , access data on your computer and install malware. One solution to this problem is to purchase a WiFi jammer for blocking these signals. Another solution is to relocate to a place where you are out of the range of the suspect WiFi network.
